Women & youth capacity building in community leadership and civic participation
Women and youth are the biggest constituencies in communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. However, due to cultural and economic reasons, they are only used by politicians to get the latter’s selfish ends. It is very important these 2 groups are supported to
- Participate in all political competitions-as candidates, not just as voters and spectators
- Hold the political group to account for socio-economic development
- Make informed and development oriented political choices
